Time Zone error

Postby ancazur on Tue Jul 06, 2010 8:28 pm

Is anyone else getting a php error regarding the time zone? I haven't changed a thing anywhere on the forum lately, so I have no idea what's causing it. Everything seems to be working okay, but it's just annoying.

Yes. And also, I've had to log in twice in a row.

Well then. Looks like our version of phpbb is out of date anyway, so perhaps I'll update it this weekend. Hopefully it'll fix itself.

So...we should expect to run into some difficulties in regards to the forum over the weekend? =P

It's not as if any of us are inundating the forum with posts, anyway.

Whoever notices errors during the upgrade gets a [virtual] cookie.

Well it seems the upgrade was successful, but that error is still popping up. How odd.

While you were updating it did not have any errors though! I tried to login but it told me it was unavailable at this time...however the board didn't have ugly errors at that time.

yay

It didn't actually take as long as you'd think. My internet connection is spotty, so it kept on disconnecting. I apologize for the forum being down for, like, hours. In reality, it should have only taken, maybe, 20 minutes. haha

The "Active Topics" screen doesn't seem to be working anymore. It says there are no topics in the past 7 days.

Strangely, it's working now. And I did not have to re-login this time.

Edit: And as soon as I say that, it stops working. I think perhaps the hyperlink for it is incorrect?

Should be this: search.php?search_id=newposts

Instead of this: search.php?search_id=active_topics

Edit #2: Nevermind - that's the link for "New Posts". The link for "Active Topics" just isn't working.

Did the people who run the server upgrade PHP perhaps? I'm assuming that's whats causing the (original) errors since it probably wasn't on our side
